statement of faith

As an NPO, serving in God’s Kingdom, it is imperative that we are of one accord when it comes to our absolute beliefs.

We have a responsibility and are accountable, to the Lord and to each other.

There are certain non-negotiables in our belief system.

  • We belief in a tri-union God, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

  • We belief that Jesus is the Son of God, that He was present with God even before creation, that He came to earth, born of a virgin, for the purposed of laying down His life on the cross, to die for our sins, so that we can be free from the bondage of sin and to show us the Father.

  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus, His ascension into Heaven, and His present life as our High Priest and Advocate

  • We believe that if a person believes in their heart and confesses with their mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and choose to accept Him as their personal Lord and Saviour, they are saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that salvation is a free gift, which cannot be earned in any way whatsoever.

  • We believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and that there is no other way to the Father accept through faith in and relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • We believe in the evidence of the Fruit of the Spirit in a believer’s life and in the flow of the Gifts of the Spirit and the manifestation of the power of God through believers.

  • We believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • We believe in Christian fellowship and the taking of Communion, the bread and wine (juice), which symbolizes the finished work of Jesus on the cross, His body that was broken and his blood that was shed for the forgiveness of sin and the restoration of all who believe in Him.

  • We declare that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour and that the Holy Spirit is the ultimate and only spiritual connection between us and God. We know that according to the Word of God, the following practices is seen as an abomination to God -  (witchcraft ; spiritual healers ; animism ; anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead.)

Deuteronomy 18:10 - 13

10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. 13 You must be blameless before the Lord your God.

Isaiah 8: 19 - 22

19 When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? 20 Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn. 21 Distressed and hungry, they will roam through the land; when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse their king and their God. 22 Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness.
